We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-performance distributed systems, core data engines, and backend infrastructure. This role requires deep system-level architecture understanding, the ability to handle large-scale clusters processing petabytes of data, and mastery of modern C/C++ and Linux environment internals. Work in a team of top-of-the-line software engineers, developing state-of-the-art Vast AI OS platform for deployment in the Cloud to serve mission-critical enterprise-level data. VAST on Cloud software design includes: • A highly scalable distributed platform featuring complex high-availability mechanisms, and advanced APIs, interoperable with a diverse software ecosystem. • Deploying Vast OS in all major hyper-scalers cloud vendors

Requirements: Strong experience in C/C++ software engineering design, coding, integration, and debugging BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent Understanding of the Linux operating system Python scripting — advantage Knowledge block-level Storage/file systems — advantage Experience in Cloud environment as AWS, Azure, GCP — an advantage Fast learner, team player, dedicated, accurate design and coding capabilities Location: Tel Aviv/Haifa
