Commercial & Financial Project Manager

A leading global organization is seeking an experienced *Commercial & Financial Project Manager* to take full ownership of the financial and commercial performance of large-scale, complex projects.

This is a key position combining finance, commercial management, and project leadership, with significant exposure to senior management and frequent collaboration with international stakeholders and the company’s headquarters in Germany.

### Key Responsibilities

- Own the financial and commercial performance of large-scale projects, including profitability, cash flow, and achievement of business objectives.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis throughout the project lifecycle.

- Monitor project revenues, costs, margins, and cash flow while ensuring alignment with financial targets.

- Manage customer and supplier contracts, including commercial negotiations, change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.

- Lead risk and opportunity management processes, develop mitigation plans, and identify value-creation opportunities.

- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business-case evaluation.

- Prepare and present financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.

- Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Operations, and other key stakeholders.

- Work closely with international teams and maintain frequent communication with the company’s headquarters in Germany.

- Manage foreign-exchange exposure and other financial risks affecting project profitability.

- Drive process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and best practices to enhance efficiency and transparency.

### Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

- At least 7 years of finance experience within a commercial organization.

- Proven experience working for a global company headquartered outside Israel — mandatory.

- Experience as a *Financial Lead, Commercial Manager, Project Controller, Project Finance Manager*, or in a similar position supporting complex projects.

- Demonstrated ownership of the financial performance of a large-scale project.

- Strong commercial understanding combined with a project-management mindset.

- Experience presenting financial results and business recommendations to senior management.

- Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

- Experience working with ERP, reporting, and financial information systems.

- Excellent English communication and presentation skills — mandatory.

### Work Model & Locations

📍 Two days per week working from home, two days at the company’s Ashkelon office, and one day at the Rosh HaAyin office.

🚗 The position includes a company car.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
