Creative Social Media Manager

70% content creation. 30% social. 100% hands-on. Applift helps the world’s leading apps climb the app store rankings. Now we want our online presence to be just as strong. We’re bringing social media in-house for the first time. We know the story we want to tell and where we want to tell it. Now we’re looking for the creative person who can bring it to life, build momentum, and help shape where it goes next. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who scrolls through content thinking, “I could do that better.” Someone who spots trends early, knows what makes people stop scrolling, and is just as comfortable behind the camera as they are editing, writing the caption, and hitting publish. Working closely with our Marketing Lead, you’ll tell the story of Applift through organic social content. LinkedIn and Facebook will showcase our company, expertise, and wins. Instagram will show the people and culture behind them. A big part of our content will be built around people: talking-head videos, industry insights brought to life through motion graphics, and the moments happening inside Applift. Your job is to balance that with trends and social-first ideas that make the whole thing worth following.  What you'll own Create • Film and edit talking-head and short-form video, from industry insights and company wins to office culture and trends • Turn industry insights into engaging visual content and motion graphics • Write posts, scripts, reels, carousels, and stories • Turn ideas, conversations, company moments, and industry news into great content • Develop content concepts, hooks, formats, and recurring series • Design content yourself or collaborate with our designers when needed Run our social • Manage the monthly content calendar from idea to publish • Manage our LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook presence • Build a consistent publishing cadence • Engage with our audience and relevant industry conversations • Keep a close eye on trends, competitors, and what our audience actually responds to Experiment & grow • Test new formats, concepts, and creative directions • Use performance insights to continuously improve what we create • Help us expand into channels like TikTok and YouTube • Collaborate with our in-house creative team and freelancers as our content operation grows

Requirements: Requirements: • Native-level English, written and spoken • Strong writing and storytelling skills • Hands-on experience filming and editing video • Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects • Knowledge of AI-powered media and content creation tools • Comfortable creating or working with motion graphics • A strong instinct for short-form and social-first content • Comfortable directing colleagues and appearing on camera when needed • Organized enough to turn creative ideas into a consistent content operation • A portfolio that shows us what you can do: videos, writing, social content, or personal projects • Nice to have: Familiarity with Figma or other design tools We care much more about what you can create and your creative potential than the exact title you've had before.
