A leading classified technology organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Researcher to join a complex and highly technical environment.

The role combines cybersecurity research, hands-on implementation of security controls and defense mechanisms, and analysis of technical intelligence to identify actionable insights and strengthen cyber defense capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Research and analyze cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies

• Implement and enhance cybersecurity controls and defense mechanisms

• Evaluate and apply advanced cyber defense technologies and methodologies

• Analyze technical and intelligence information to identify meaningful research insights

• Translate research findings into practical cybersecurity solutions

• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with cybersecurity and technology professionals in a classified environment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant professional cybersecurity experience – required

• Proven hands-on experience implementing cybersecurity defenses and security controls

• Strong experience in cybersecurity research and technical analysis

• Experience analyzing technical intelligence and extracting actionable insights

• Strong analytical and independent research capabilities

• Deep technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills

• Valid Level 3 security clearance or higher – required

Education – One of the Following Is Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer-related studies, Exact Sciences, or Technology Engineering

• Practical Engineering diploma in Computer Science / Technology

• At least 400 hours of professional cybersecurity training

• Graduate of a recognized military technology unit with relevant professional experience, subject to applicable approval
