Senior Cloud Engineer (GenAI & GCP Focus)

Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, automating, and deploying production-grade services on behalf of our customers to a variety of public clouds such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Cloud Engineers work alongside our Solutions Architects to ensure our project deliverables meet stakeholders' needs while upholding MyOps's quality and operational maturity standards.

Role Summary

Cloud Engineer responsible for building, automating, securing, and operating cloud platforms on GCP, with a focus on AI infrastructure, Agentic AI, AI serving, and MLOps capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining cloud architecture (Landing Zones), procedures, and policies for proper cloud utilization in GCP.

• Guiding development and DevOps teams in selecting appropriate services and solving complex architectural issues.

• Writing and managing high-level, modular infrastructure as code for organization-wide use.

• Monitoring and controlling cloud costs, identifying waste, and recommending optimization actions such as right-sizing and RI/Savings Plans.

• Working closely with security teams to implement automated controls and improve the overall security posture.

• Design scalable AI infrastructure, AI serving architectures, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions. Define enterprise standards for cloud, AI, security, and platform operations; MLOps and LLMOps architecture and governance standards. Support AI strategy, roadmap development, and technology selection.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Information Technology, with a preference for infrastructure and platform services automation.

• 2+ years of experience with engineering and supporting containerization technology (OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE).

• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tooling and best practices.

• Strong knowledge of foundational elements of public cloud (Google Cloud and AWS).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Shell scripting, etc.) to automate routine operational tasks.

• Proficiency in networking and network security concepts.

• A proactive approach to identifying technical risk and communicating it to the SA.

• Fluent in Hebrew and English
