RF & Signal Processing Lab Manager

A leading defense company is seeking an experienced RF & Signal Processing Lab Manager to lead and operate advanced development laboratories supporting signal processing, wireless communications, RF, and antenna technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain multiple development laboratories supporting RF, wireless communication, and signal processing teams

• Own laboratory infrastructure, including RF test equipment, measurement systems, computers, networking, calibration, safety, and operational readiness

• Provide technical support and services to development engineers and multidisciplinary R&D teams

• Lead laboratory setup activities, test configurations, and infrastructure upgrades

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, Cybersecurity, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external vendors

• Support and participate in RF, antenna, and environmental testing activities, both in the laboratory and in field experiments

• Manage procurement, maintenance, calibration, and deployment of advanced RF and test equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards across all laboratory environments

Requirements:

• Practical Electronics Engineer / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Engineering

• 7+ years of experience managing laboratory infrastructure, RF laboratories, or complex testing environments

• Strong hands-on experience with RF systems and test equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and related instrumentation

• Experience building and supporting test setups and experimental environments

• Experience working with RF, antennas, communication systems, or signal processing environments

• Experience with laboratory operations, calibration processes, integration activities, and technical troubleshooting

• Military service in a technological unit - Advantage

• Experience supporting environmental testing, soldering, and hardware assembly – Advantage

• Strong technical leadership, ownership, and ability to work independently
