Senior Processor Verification Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Processor Verification Engineer to join a cutting-edge semiconductor development team. In this role, you will play a key part in verifying next-generation processor technologies, working closely with Architecture, Design, and Verification teams to ensure high-quality silicon products.

Success in this position means taking ownership of complex verification tasks, delivering robust verification environments, achieving coverage goals, and collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary engineering

teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UVM-based verification environments for complex processor and SoC components.

• Define verification strategies and create comprehensive test plans based on architectural specifications.

• Design, develop, execute, and debug verification test cases using SystemVerilog and UVM.

• Perform functional and code coverage analysis and drive coverage closure.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve RTL and design issues in collaboration with Design and Architecture teams.

• Participate in design reviews and verification planning throughout the development lifecycle.

• Improve verification methodologies, automation, and infrastructure to enhance development efficiency.

Required

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ASIC/SoC Design Verification.

• Strong experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.

• Experience building verification environments and writing verification components from scratch.

• Experience with coverage-driven verification methodologies.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

• Fluent English.

Preferred

• Experience with Processor / CPU / DSP Verification.

• Familiarity with modern processor architectures.

• RTL design knowledge or experience reading Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.

• Experience with C/C++.

• Knowledge of industry-standard EDA tools and simulation environments.
