Data Center Operations Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Operations Specialist for a hands-on field role involving the ongoing operation of data centers, communication rooms, infrastructure equipment, vendors, and mission-critical systems.

Important: This is not a NOC position. The role focuses on the physical, hands-on operation of data center facilities and infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and oversee data centers and communication rooms

• Monitor cooling systems, UPS units, and generators

• Install, cable, replace, and perform initial configuration of servers and network equipment

• Work with storage, backup, and disaster recovery systems

• Supervise subcontractors and external service providers

• Manage inventory, equipment installation and removal, and ongoing documentation

• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders

• Work outside standard business hours when required

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in data center operations or management

• Hands-on experience with server and network infrastructure, including physical installation, cabling, and initial configuration

• Familiarity with storage, backup, and disaster recovery environments

• Strong accountability, attention to detail, organization, and assertiveness

• Ability to operate effectively in an intensive environment and resolve operational issues

Advantages

• Familiarity with DCIM or NMS monitoring and management systems

• Understanding of information security in data center environments

מחפשים איש/אשת Data Center מנוסה לתפקיד שטח משמעותי, עם אחריות על תפעול שוטף של חדרי מחשב ותקשורת, ציוד תשתיתי, ספקים ומערכות קריטיות.

חשוב: לא מדובר בתפקיד NOC, אלא בתפקיד שטח ותפעול Hands-on של חדרי מחשב ותשתיות.

• עבודה מול ממשקים רבים בתוך הארגון ומחוצה לו

• נכונות לעבודה בשעות לא שגרתיות בעת הצורך

מה אנחנו מחפשים?

• לפחות 3 שנות ניסיון בניהול/תפעול Data Center

• ניסיון מעשי בתשתיות תקשורת ושרתים, כולל התקנה פיזית, חיווט והגדרות ראשוניות

• היכרות עם מערכי Storage, Backup ו-DR

• אסרטיביות, אחריות גבוהה, סדר ודיוק

• יכולת להתמודד עם סביבה אינטנסיבית ולמצוא פתרונות יצירתיים
