Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Data Developer for a leading organization in the Sharon area.

The role includes hands-on work with Data processes and Data Pipelines in Production environments, with a strong focus on SQL, Airflow, troubleshooting, and Data Quality.

Responsibilities:

Work with Data processes and Data Pipelines in Production environments

Work extensively with SQL

Maintain and troubleshoot Airflow processes

Read and understand Python code used in Orchestration processes and Data Pipelines

Work with ETL/ELT processes and investigate data issues and inconsistencies

Work with Logs, Monitoring tools, Reconciliation processes, and Data Quality checks

Use AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar tools for code understanding and Troubleshooting

Document and improve work processes

Collaborate with technological and business stakeholders

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, or a similar Data role

Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, Joins, Aggregations, CTEs, and Window Functions

Experience with Airflow and the ability to troubleshoot existing DAGs, including task dependencies, scheduling, Retries, and failures

Ability to read and understand Python code used in Data Pipelines and Orchestration processes

Experience with ETL/ELT processes in Production environments and a strong understanding of Data Pipelines

Experience investigating Production Data issues using Logs, Monitoring, Reconciliation, and Data Quality checks

Hands-on familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar tools
