Data Ops Team Lead

🚀 We’re Hiring: Data Ops Team Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Data Ops Team Lead to join a leading organization’s Data Platform group and take ownership of the stability, reliability, and evolution of its data environments.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining team management, complex On-Prem & Cloud data operations, Production ownership, Monitoring & Automation, and a major transformation toward GCP.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and mentor a Data Ops team, manage priorities, goals, and day-to-day operations

• Own the availability, stability, performance, and reliability of enterprise Data systems end-to-end

• Operate and maintain ETL processes and scheduling environments, including DataStage and Control-M

• Manage BI platforms, servers, permissions, databases, and performance

• Handle complex Production incidents, perform RCA, and drive preventive improvements

• Build and improve proactive Monitoring & Alerting capabilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD and automation processes for Data pipelines and environments

• Take an active role in the organization’s Cloud Transformation and Data operations on GCP

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, AI, Full-Stack, and Cloud teams

• Support Data Governance, security, configuration, and cross-organizational technology initiatives

What we’re looking for:

✔️ 3+ years of experience managing a Data / Data Operations team

✔️ Strong hands-on operational experience across ETL, DWH, BI, scheduling, and monitoring environments

✔️ Experience with enterprise ETL tools such as DataStage / Informatica and scheduling tools such as Control-M

✔️ Familiarity with BI administration – Power BI, Tableau, SAP BO, Pyramid, or similar

Big advantage if you also bring:

• Cloud experience with GCP / AWS / Azure

• Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar monitoring tools

• Spark / Kafka

• Linux / Windows infrastructure knowledge

• Infrastructure or Application DBA background
