Principal Hardware Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Hardware Engineer to play a lead technical role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced hardware components and verification systems for next-generation medical devices.

Working with a global, cross-functional team, you will influence key architectural decisions from concept through release, shaping core technology for life-saving applications.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Drive hardware development activities from concept and architecture through verification, validation, and transfer to production.

• Circuit Design: Lead the design and implementation of complex mixed-signal circuits and analog signal processing.

• Optimization: Make strategic design trade-offs, optimizing BOMs for cost, performance, manufacturability, and long-term reliability.

• System Debugging & Testing: Lead board- and system-level testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software, mechanical, quality, and production teams, acting as a technical focal point for investigations and process improvements.

• Documentation & Standards: Produce high-quality technical specs, reports, and documentation compliant with medical device quality standards.

Qualifications / Criteria

• Experience: 10+ years of hardware development experience in complex electronic products.

• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.

• Technical Depth: Deep experience in analog signal processing, mixed-signal circuit design, and solid understanding of digital signal processing.

• Tools & Simulation: Proficiency in schematic capture and simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB, etc.).

• Hands-on Debugging: Extensive lab experience with electrical test equipment and root-cause troubleshooting.

• Communication: Fluent English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills for collaborating across global teams.
