Mertens Malam Team is hiring a Data Engineer to join a leading organization in Southern Israel

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a Cloud based Data Platform on Google Cloud ensuring production stability data quality and seamless integration of enterprise data in a cutting edge environment

Responsibilities

Manage the production operations of a Cloud based Data Platform on Google Cloud

Ensure platform stability availability and performance

Monitor Data Pipelines Data Freshness and Data Quality

Integrate new data sources and manage access control and permissions

Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors while maintaining SLA and Data Governance standards

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer

Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP

Knowledge of Data Ingestion ELT and Data Quality processes

Experience developing with Python

Understanding of Security IAM and Data Governance principles

Experience working with external vendors
