Development Team Lead - Position No. 1743

What you'll do:

We're looking for a Development Team Lead to join an existing department and lead a development team, while staying closely involved in the technical process.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading a development team within the department, providing ongoing technical and professional guidance

• Reviewing and approving development specs/requirements before they move into development, acting as a technical gate to ensure feasibility and quality upfront

• Getting hands-on with code when needed - for complex problems, technical guidance, or unblocking the team - while your main focus remains leading the team and the technical process

• Conducting ongoing code reviews and ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices

• Mentoring team members and supporting their professional growth

• Taking part in the hiring process for new developers (interviewing and technical evaluation), alongside recruitment

• Collaborating with other development teams and stakeholders within the department

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of development experience

• Strong technical background in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL

• 2+ years of experience leading/managing a development team, including code review and mentoring

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Primarily a leadership and technical-guidance role, with the ability to get hands-on when the team needs it

• Experience using AI tools as part of the daily development process

Nice to have:

• Experience with Angular and Python

• Experience working in AWS-based environments

• Experience being part of a technical hiring process

• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture
