DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a specialized infrastructure squad supporting one of our core product platforms. In this role, you will play a key part in architecting, deploying, and maintaining our end-to-end cloud environment—from developer workflows to production releases. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

• Squad Operations: Operate within a focused team of 3 DevOps engineers, working directly with software developers, data engineering teams, and solution architects.

• Infrastructure & Pipelines: Balance hands-on ownership between scalable cloud infrastructure (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Stack Evolution: Maintain and optimize our infrastructure management, deployment workflows, and observability ecosystem.

• System Health: Ensure seamless release patterns, high availability, and comprehensive performance tracking across all live environments.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience, with at least 2+ years managing high-scale production environments.

• Cloud & IaC: 5+ years of experience engineering cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles on GCP or AWS.

• Containerization: 4+ years of deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and its surrounding ecosystem.

• Methodologies & Frameworks: Strong command of modern deployment patterns, including GitOps, Helm charts, automated CI/CD pipelines, and release methodologies.

• Data Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud data platforms (such as BigQuery, BigTable, CloudSQL, or Cloud Spanner).

• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of core networking concepts, traffic routing, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
