Oligo is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (U.S. Citizen) to join our FedStart team. This role is dedicated to supporting our expansion into U.S. federal and regulated environments. You will work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to build and operate secure cloud infrastructure while helping establish the foundations of our FedRAMP program. This position is based in Israel and requires U.S. citizenship due to responsibilities involving U.S.regulated environments and customer requirements. What you’ll be doing • Build and operate secure AWS cloud environments supporting regulated workloads • Design and maintain production Kubernetes (EKS) platforms • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and related tooling • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on security and compliance • Partner with Security and Engineering teams to implement FedRAMP controls and operational processes • Improve reliability, scalability and observability across cloud environments • Automate operational and compliance workflows • Participate in incident response and operational support rotations • Contribute to security audits, evidence collection, and compliance initiatives
Requirements: • U.S. Citizen (required) • 3+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience • Strong AWS experience in production environments • Strong Kubernetes (EKS preferred) experience • Hands-on Terraform experience • Strong Linux administration skills • Python or similar scripting language for automation • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices • Comfortable using AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development, troubleshooting, automation, and operational workflows Nice to have • Experience with FedRAMP or other regulated cloud environments • Experience working in cybersecurity companies • Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD • Experience operating Kafka in Kubernetes environments • Experience working with U.S. government customers
