DevOps Lead

At Nexite, we’re building technology that helps retailers better understand what’s happening in their stores through a combination of IoT hardware, cloud infrastructure, software, data, and AI.

We’re a small team solving big problems, and we’re looking for a DevOps Team Lead who wants to have a meaningful impact on how engineering operates and scales.

We’re looking for someone who can come in, take ownership, and make things better. Someone who isn’t afraid to challenge existing approaches, introduce new technologies, and drive improvements across infrastructure, security, reliability, and developer productivity.

This is a very hands-on leadership role. We need someone with a leadership mindset who can set direction, raise the bar, drive execution, and help the team make smart technical decisions.

Responsibilities

● Lead the DevOps function across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, cloud security, and FinOps.

● Own and improve infrastructure reliability, security and scalability

● Build platforms, tooling, and processes that help engineers move faster and spend less time dealing with infrastructure friction.

● Identify opportunities to leverage AI across engineering and operations to automate workflows, reduce manual work, and improve productivity.

● Challenge existing assumptions, introduce new technologies, and drive meaningful improvements across DevOps practices.

Requirement

● Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP is a big advantage), Kubernetes, and production systems.

● Leadership mindset and a strong sense of ownership.

● Experience with CI/CD, observability, cloud security, and FinOps.

● Experience building platforms and tooling that improve developer productivity.

● Passion for leveraging AI to improve engineering workflows and operational efficiency.

● Ability to identify problems, drive change, and execute.

● Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to make a big impact.
