DevOps Team Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join a group consisting of multiple DevOps teams. This role combines team management and leadership with hands-on technical work.

The role includes implementing and driving the DevOps approach, developing and implementing DevOps processes based on requirements defined by multiple projects, and building and maintaining flexible and efficient processes throughout the development lifecycle.

You will work with a range of technologies and tools, with an ongoing focus on process optimization and improvement, while supporting development and integration teams throughout the release process to development and customer environments.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and lead a DevOps team while remaining hands-on

• Drive and implement the DevOps approach

• Develop and implement DevOps processes based on requirements from multiple projects

• Build and maintain flexible and efficient processes throughout the development lifecycle

• Continuously optimize and improve processes

• Support development and integration teams throughout the release process to development and customer environments

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps Developer

• At least 3 years of experience managing and leading a DevOps team of 5 or more employees

• Experience developing CI/CD processes using tools such as GitLab / Azure DevOps / Jenkins

• Experience with Git for configuration management

• Experience writing scripts in Bash / Python

• Experience working with Linux / Windows environments

• Experience working with Docker Containers

• Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure

• Experience working with HELM

Advantages

• Familiarity with OpenShift

• Experience with IaC-based configuration management tools such as Ansible / Terraform

• Familiarity with DevSecOps

• Experience working with public cloud environments (AWS) and private cloud environments

• BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering – significant advantage
