Reporting directly to the DevOps Director, you will guide a team of DevOps Engineers, drive technical excellence, and ensure the smooth delivery of infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD capabilities across the organization. This role combines technical depth with people leadership — you are equally comfortable reviewing a Terraform plan and running a team retrospective.

Requirements: Experience & Background • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field. • 2+ years in a team lead, tech lead, or senior individual contributor role with mentorship responsibilities. • Proven track record of leading small-to-mid-size engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills • Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Terragrunt. • Deep experience with CI/CD tooling — GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent. • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Experience with monitoring and observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK. • Solid scripting skills in Python and/or Bash. • Knowledge of container security, Vault, and infrastructure cost management. • Familiarity with Ansible, Docker, and networking/DNS fundamentals. Leadership & Soft Skills • Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. • A collaborative, people-first mindset with a focus on team success over individual contribution. • Comfort working across time zones and with distributed, international teams. • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement and automation-first mindset. Nice to Have • Experience with large-scale SaaS or data-intensive environments. • Familiarity with Apache Flink, ElasticSearch, Vertica, or hybrid cloud deployments. • Exposure to Keycloak (OIDC), Tableau, or enterprise identity management. • Customer-facing or on-site deployment experience.
