Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend / Cloud Platform Engineer, joining a distributed international engineering squad (alongside European engineers and an Israel-based Team Lead) to elevate the team’s technical standards, architecture, and engineering execution.

• Taking a key technical leadership role in architecting, scaling, and modernizing cloud-native backend infrastructures and platform microservices.

• Leading end-to-end design, implementation, and deployment of resilient, high-throughput systems that power the company's AI, Computer Vision, and D2C platforms.

• Driving best practices across Cloud Architecture, CI/CD automation, API scalability, system observability, and production reliability.

• Mentoring peers and collaborating cross-functionally with multidisciplinary Data Science, ML Research, Product, and Frontend engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5 years of Proven hands-on track record in Backend Software Engineering and Platform Architecture– Mandatory

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying systems in Public Cloud Environments (AWS / GCP / Azure) – Mandatory

• Strong technical leadership mindset with the ability to raise engineering standards, guide technical decisions, and mentor team members – Mandatory

• Deep practical experience with Microservices Architecture, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Distributed Systems – Mandatory

• Solid engineering foundations in database design (SQL / NoSQL), API architecture (RESTful / GraphQL / gRPC), and CI/CD pipelines – Mandatory

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Fluent English for working in a distributed, global team – Mandatory

• Experience interfacing with AI / Machine Learning pipelines, Computer Vision workflows, or High-Scale D2C / E-Commerce platforms – Significant Advantage
