We are looking for a senior, hands-on Director of Business & Commercial Finance to take ownership of the commercial and financial lifecycle of our deals and programs. Responsibilities - what you’ll be doing: Deal, Pricing & Commercial Finance • Lead the financial side of the deal process for new opportunities. • Own pricing, quotations, and financial models supporting commercial proposals. • Analyze deal economics, including costs, margins, profitability, financial milestone structure, cash-flow implications, and financial risks. • Partner with Business, Program, and Engineering teams to evaluate opportunities and support commercial decision-making. • Review contracts from a financial and commercial perspective and ensure alignment between the commercial offer, contractual commitments, and execution plan. Program Economics & Financial Control • Own the financial performance of programs throughout their lifecycle, including revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and cash flow. • Work closely with Program Managers to track contractual, delivery, invoicing, and payment milestones. • Assess the financial impact of changes in scope, schedule, cost, or contractual commitments. • Drive invoicing readiness and maintain ownership and visibility over customer collections and expected cash-in. • Work with Business and Program teams to resolve commercial or execution gaps that impact invoicing, collections, or program profitability. • Identify financial risks, deviations, and opportunities across programs and ensure timely visibility and escalation when needed. Procurement & Vendor Management • Own and support the commercial and financial aspects of procurement and supplier engagements. • Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier proposals, pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions. • Lead or support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors. • Monitor supplier commitments and financial exposures and ensure alignment with project economics and company objectives. • Drive commercial discipline and cost awareness across vendor-related activities. FP&A & Financial Planning • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes. • Perform actual vs. budget and forecast analysis. • Build financial models and analyses to support management decisions and company planning. • Prepare management reporting and translate financial performance into actionable insights. Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership • Serve as a trusted financial and commercial partner to senior company leadership. • Work confidently with senior stakeholders, including the ability to challenge assumptions and decisions when needed. • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, while maintaining strong judgment and attention to detail. • Manage and develop a team member, providing professional guidance, prioritization, and ongoing support. Requirements - does this describe you? · 6 + years of relevant experience in Business Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Project Finance, or similar roles. • Strong experience in pricing, business cases, deal analysis, and program economics. • Experience working with contracts, commercial terms, milestone-based programs, billing, and collections. • Strong financial modeling and Excel capabilities. • Strong business judgment and commercial mindset. • Ability to work confidently with senior management, challenge when needed, and perform effectively under pressure. • Ability to work cross-functionally with Business, Programs, Engineering, Operations, and Finance. • Strong ownership, independence, and ability to drive complex processes end-to-end. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. • Fluent Hebrew and English.
