Role Description-

• Serving as a Director of Engineering / Senior Engineering Manager, shaping and executing the overarching technical vision and architectural strategy for the core Kubernetes platform.

• Leading, growing, and mentoring a multi-team engineering organization, providing direct management and professional mentorship to Engineering Team Leads and senior developers.

• Architecting resilient, high-throughput distributed systems and Cloud-Native infrastructure capable of scaling to massive enterprise workloads.

• Partnering closely with Product Leadership and Executive Staff to convert long-term business goals into concrete engineering roadmaps and delivery milestones.

• Scaling engineering workflows, CI/CD automation, operational excellence, and software reliability to support rapid company growth.

• Fostering a high-performance R&D environment centered on technical rigor, system reliability, and continuous innovation.

Requirements-

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience – Mandatory

• Proven track record in multi-team engineering leadership / second-line management (managing and mentoring Team Leads) – Mandatory

• Deep technical mastery of Distributed Systems, Cloud-Native technologies, Containerization, and Kubernetes, with the ability to dive into complex architectural debates – Mandatory

• Demonstrated success in scaling engineering organizations, processes, and high-scale product delivery – Mandatory

• Proven background collaborating closely with Product Leadership and Executive Management to translate business strategy into engineering outcomes – Mandatory

• B.Sc. in Computer Science from a top-tier academic institution, OR equivalent elite technological background (e.g., service in an elite IDF technological unit) – Mandatory

• In-depth understanding of cloud cost optimization (FinOps), Linux kernel internals, or eBPF – Advantage
