Freelance | Part-Time | Remote

Organization: Stella Israel

Hours: Approximately 5–10 hours per week, flexible

Location: Remote — candidates may be based in Israel, the US, or elsewhere

Compensation: ₪80/hour, based on experience, up to ₪2,500/month. Payment will be made in Israel on a freelance/invoice basis. About the Role Stella Israel is expanding its philanthropic work, and we’re looking for a strong writer to help manage our donor-facing communications.

The role is straightforward but important: take the work we’re doing, the people we’re helping, and the outcomes we’re seeing, and communicate them to donors in a compelling, credible, and highly professional way. What You’ll Do • Write a bi-weekly or monthly donor newsletter

• Draft donor updates, follow-ups, and stewardship emails

• Turn clinical outcomes, program data, and patient and family stories into compelling donor-facing content

• Prepare short one-pagers and impact updates

• Draft high-quality outreach and cultivation emails for prospective and existing donors

• Work closely with our team to stay current on programs, outcomes, patient stories, and impact Who We’re Looking For • Native or near-native English with exceptional writing skills

• A polished, warm, and credible writing style suited to sophisticated philanthropic audiences

• Experience in nonprofit, fundraising, development, or donor communications is strongly preferred

• Able to turn clinical and technical information into clear, human stories without sacrificing accuracy

• Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently
