STC Technician 1 1 1

• undertake equipment maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of Edwards equipment at the Edwrads sevice centre in Qiryat Gat. Providing rebuild and testing service to customer equipment and supporting a programme of continuous improvement relating to Service. Service Technician must be physically fit and able to lift 20Kg. Will need to meet appropriate medical assessment and will be required to wear various industrial personal protective equipment (PPE)

Apprenticeship in mechanical or electro-mechanical Technician and practical hands-on approach to work.

Vocational level qualification in mechanical or electrical Technical school /college.

Minimum of 2.5 years practical experience, preferably in an engineering service environment (mechanical, chemical, vacuum or semiconductor). Alternatively, experience in a light mechanical or electronic assembly or service operation.

PC skills – MS Office, email and Internet. Able to compile and present concise reports.

Ability to adapt to and to work effectively and safely within a variety of situations and with various individuals and group.

Fluent in Hebrew language is essential.

Full clean driving licence essential.

Capable of working with supervision.

Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be a strong oral and written communicator, confident, relaxed and influential with customers, with the ability to adapt and respond to situations as they arise.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Personality traits should include customer orientation, ambition, enthusiasm, tact and diplomacy.
