We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join a leading defense technology company in Rehovot and take part in the development of innovative multidisciplinary systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design of opto-mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, electronic card packaging, jigs, and alignment/measurement fixtures

• End-to-end mechanical design ownership, from concept and development through documentation, integration, and production support

• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including Electronics, Optics, Systems Engineering, and Manufacturing

• Working independently and as part of a team while meeting project requirements, schedules, and quality standards

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory

• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design – Mandatory

• Experience with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks – Mandatory

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, and aluminum manufacturing technologies – Mandatory

• Solid understanding of GD&T and technical drawings – Mandatory

• Experience with PDM systems – Advantage

• Experience in Defense and/or Space Systems – Advantage

• Experience in Opto-Mechanical Design – Advantage

• Experience with Laser and Fiber-Optic Systems – Advantage
