Engineering Team Lead – Agentic AI

We're building a new engineering team focused on developing AI-powered agents that solve complex business workflows. The team is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving intelligent agents, alongside the evaluation frameworks used to measure their effectiveness and reliability.

Working closely with Product, AI Research, and Platform Engineering, the team combines cutting-edge AI capabilities with production-grade software engineering. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage, influence both the technical direction and team culture, and play a key role in shaping the future of AI-driven products.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and professional development.

• Remain hands-on by designing and developing AI agents using modern LLM technologies and agent frameworks.

• Define and implement evaluation methodologies to measure, monitor, and improve the quality of AI-driven systems.

• Drive execution by translating business priorities into technical plans, managing delivery, and removing execution blockers.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Research, and cross-functional teams to transform customer needs into scalable AI capabilities.

• Contribute to engineering strategy, architecture decisions, and organizational growth as the AI organization expands.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience building production systems.

• Proven experience developing and deploying LLM-based applications or AI agents in production environments.

• Experience evaluating and improving the performance of generative or other non-deterministic AI systems.

• Strong product mindset with the ability to translate customer challenges into technical solutions.

• Excellent execution skills in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities.

• Demonstrated success mentoring engineers at different career stages.
