Cyber Consultant (vCISO)

HackersEye is an elite cyber security firm founded by former government, military, and corporate experts. We help organizations in Israel and around the world strengthen their security posture — from risk assessment and regulatory compliance to security strategy — all with an attacker's perspective. We're looking for a motivated and talented Cyber Consultant to join our international consulting team and serve as a trusted advisor and vCISO to our clients.

What you'll do:

• Serving as a vCISO for client organizations — owning their security strategy, roadmap, and executive reporting.

• Leading and executing cross-organizational cyber security consulting projects at our customers.

• Conducting procedural and technological cyber risk assessments and designing remediation plans.

• Leading regulatory compliance projects and audits for international organizations, in line with global and local cyber security and privacy frameworks.

• Drafting information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Advising on security solutions and architecture, and delivering client training on security practices and risk mitigation.

• Presenting expert-level deliverables to technical and executive audiences, and maintaining client relationships and satisfaction.

What you bring:

• At least 2 years of accumulated knowledge and experience in areas such as Information Technology and Security, Cloud Technologies and Architecture, Communication Networks, Databases, Application Development, Planning and implementing technological solutions.

• Knowledge of diverse information security systems such as Content Filtering, SIEM, NAC, DLP, FW, WAF, AV, EDR, IPS - and more.

• Familiarity with various standards, regulations, and security methodologies, such as ISO27K, SOC2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, NIST, COBIT, etc.

• Experience in security project management and in leading organizations' security programs — prior vCISO experience is a strong advantage.

• Fluent Business English (reading, writing, and speaking) - mandatory.

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with proven client-facing experience — able to explain technical information clearly and work across cultural environments as part of a global team.

• Ability to work independently on multiple parallel projects under tight deadlines.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, OSCP, CEH, or GSEC – an advantage.

• Experience with authentication protocols, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS environments – an advantage.

• Familiarity with attack tools and information security architecture – an advantage.
