Overseas Purchasing Manager

About the Company

Purchasing is responsible for dealing with and handling overseas suppliers, shipping/transportation companies and working as internal interfaces with the various company entities.

Responsibilities

• Receiving requirements from the company's departments (marketing, logistics, technical, etc.) and turning them into accurate orders

• Locating and reviewing with the various suppliers the availability of materials/products, material costs, shipping and transportation costs

• Working with the various authorities in everything related to shipping shipments (e.g. customs)

• Interfacing with the warehouses on supplies and tracking orders, including managing tracking reports until they are absorbed into inventory

• Promoting supplies and updating shipment status in the computerized system

• Responsibility for opening SKUs and maintaining existing ones in the company's information systems (currently Priority)

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in industry and management / logistics / logistics / import-export / similar field

Required Skills

• Computer: Excellent control Computer applications; Knowledge of the Priority system – a significant advantage

• English: Good level (writing / reading / speaking) – a must!
