Electrical & Electronics Engineer – Laser Systems Development

Location: Rehovot

A leading multinational company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and sales of unique electro-optical systems for global industry leaders is seeking an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer for a hands-on development role in advanced laser systems.

The position involves joining a multidisciplinary R&D group and working closely with system, laser, optics, mechanical, control, software, and integration engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of analog and digital electronic circuits.

• Design of electrical panels, power distribution systems, power supplies, protections, and control interfaces.

• Design of electrical and electronic interfaces between sub-systems.

• Component selection based on performance, reliability, availability, and cost requirements.

• Design for EMC/EMI, grounding, and shielding.

• Design of safety systems and interlock interfaces.

• Oversaw PCB design and conducted Design Reviews.

• Setup, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of circuits, boards, and sub-systems.

• Active participation in system integration and performance verification.

• Writing design documents, schematics, and test documentation.

• Supporting the transition from R&D to manufacturing (NPI) and managing engineering changes (ECOs).

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

• Significant experience in hardware development.

• Proven experience in circuit design from requirements definition to implementation, testing, and integration.

• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and board bring-up/troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of power systems, power supplies, protections, grounding, and EMC/EMI.

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment – Significant Advantage.

• Experience with laser systems, electro-optics, or high-power systems – Advantage.
