Electrical Practical Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical & Building Systems Owner to join our Facilities team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing operation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of electrical and building systems across the company’s facilities. You will serve as a key technical focal point, ensuring system reliability, supporting daily operational needs, leading infrastructure improvement initiatives, and overseeing contractors and service providers.

The position combines technical expertise, hands-on maintenance activities, system performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.

This position requires on-site presence at our Jerusalem facilities 5 days per week.

What will your job look like:

• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve electrical and building systems across company facilities.

• Serve as the professional focal point and subject matter expert for electrical infrastructure and related building systems.

• Identify system issues, perform troubleshooting, and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability and performance.

• Execute hands-on maintenance activities and support ongoing operational needs across facility systems.

• Manage contractors, vendors, and service providers, including supervision of maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities.

• Lead small to mid-sized infrastructure improvement projects from initiation through execution and delivery.

• Monitor system performance, analyze operational data, and present reports and recommendations for optimization.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and relevant engineering standards.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide technical support and practical solutions for facility-related needs.

• 3-5+ years of experience maintaining and operating electrical infrastructure and building systems - must

• Certified Electrical Practical Engineer (Electrical Engineering Technician / Practical Engineer) - must

• Valid Chief Electrician License (רישיון חשמלאי ראשי) - must

• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial buildings or high-tech environments.

• Experience working with HVAC systems in commercial, office, industrial, or laboratory environments - an advantage.

• Experience managing contractors, service providers, and external vendors.

• Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety regulations, and operational best practices.

• Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize facility systems performance, diagnose issues, and implement effective improvement and corrective actions.

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
