Electro-Optics Physicist / Engineer – R&D

A leading technology company is looking for an experienced Electro-Optics Physicist / Engineer to join its R&D team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, select and characterize critical electro-optical components.

• Technical expertise in lasers, day/night optics, thermal imaging, displays and laser rangefinders (LRF).

• Support integration of electro-optical components into systems and sub-systems.

• Lead testing, characterization and analysis of electro-optical components and systems.

• Work with international suppliers, including technical evaluation and co-development.

• Define technical specifications and ensure supplier compliance.

• Solve complex technical challenges in electro-optics and optics.

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics, Electro-Optics, Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in electro-optical systems or component development.

• Strong hands-on experience in Electro-Optics – mandatory.

• Experience with lasers, thermal imaging, day/night optics, displays or LRF – advantage.

• Experience working with international suppliers – advantage.

• Experience leading an engineering team – significant advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
