Electromechanical R&D Manager

Join Orbit Communication Systems as an Electromechanical R&D Manager, where you will lead the development of cutting-edge electromechanical products. You will oversee research and development projects, ensuring that the team delivers innovative solutions that meet market demands and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electromechanical R&D team to achieve project goals.

• Develop and implement research strategies to enhance product innovation.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure product feasibility and compliance.

• Oversee the design and testing of prototypes to validate product concepts.

• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies into product development processes.

Responsibilites:

• Lead end-to-end R&D projects, including technical definition, planning, risk management, milestones, and delivery.

• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electronics engineers.

• Coordinate subcontractors and internal interfaces to ensure high-quality engineering outputs.

• Maintain project visibility through reviews, workload management, and structured follow-up.

• Support system engineering activities, including requirements, interfaces, and customer-related inputs.

Take a hands-on role in complex technical tasks and ensure smooth transfer to operations and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 7 years of experience in electromechanical product development.

• Proven leadership experience in managing R&D teams for at least 3 years.

• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and relevant industry standards.

• Experience with project management and budget oversight.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
