Electronics CAD Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an Electronics CAD Engineer to join the Software Factory within the ELTA Division.

The role combines hands-on electronics engineering expertise with CAD tools, development methodologies, and engineering infrastructure. You will lead CAD-related activities across electronic circuit design, microwave design, antenna design, and FPGA development environments.

This is an opportunity to work on non-standard, high-impact engineering challenges and directly contribute to improving and streamlining development processes across the division.

What You'll Do

• Lead CAD activities across electronic circuit design, microwave design, antenna design, and FPGA development environments.

• Implement and support electronic CAD tools for electronics engineers across the organization.

• Establish and implement engineering methodologies and best practices for CAD tools.

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and engineering tools.

• Define, optimize, and improve engineering processes.

• Provide technical support and solutions for cross-organizational engineering infrastructure challenges.

• Work closely with engineers and internal customers to understand needs and provide effective technical solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

• 2–3 years of experience in electronics development and/or CAD – required.

• Experience in hardware / Board Design – required.

• Familiarity with Siemens EDA tools – an advantage.

• Experience with Linux – an advantage.

• Familiarity with ADS and CST development tools – an advantage.

• Programming experience in Python – an advantage.

• Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as Vivado, Quartus, or Questa – an advantage.

• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies – an advantage.

• Strong customer-oriented approach and excellent interpersonal and service skills.

• High level of English.
