Located in the Southern region (Sderot), operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.

Role Description-

• Serving as an Embedded Software Engineer (C / C++), developing low-level and system software for real-time industrial automation, process control, and embedded equipment.

• Designing, implementing, and debugging firmware and embedded applications in C and C++ across heterogeneous computing platforms (ARM and x86).

• Translating product requirements and system specifications into comprehensive software design documents and architectural plans.

• Developing and customizing Board Support Packages (BSPs), device drivers, and low-level system software over Embedded Linux and Linux Kernel subsystems.

• Working hands-on with hardware peripherals, communication protocols, and real-time control loops directly on physical hardware and evaluation boards.

• Collaborating cross-functionally with Hardware, System, Automation, and QA teams throughout full development and deployment lifecycles.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical hands-on technical experience – Mandatory

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience for Embedded Systems in C and C++ – Mandatory

• Deep, practical hands-on programming expertise in Embedded C – Mandatory

• Solid experience with Heterogeneous Systems (ARM and x86 architectures) – Mandatory

• Proven background in Embedded Linux, Linux Kernel development, and/or Board Support Packages (BSPs) – Mandatory

• Practical knowledge of Real-Time Control Systems, RTOS, or low-level embedded OS environments – Mandatory

• Deep understanding of low-level hardware operation, registers, microcontrollers, and hardware peripherals (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet) – Mandatory

• Proven ability to define, write, and maintain formal software specification and architecture documents – Mandatory

• High proficiency in English (both written and spoken) – Mandatory
