Role Description-
• Serving as a Senior Embedded Real-Time (RT) Software / Firmware Engineer, taking a central role in designing and developing multi-threaded real-time applications using C/C++ on RTOS platforms.
• Architecting, developing, and maintaining low-level hardware drivers, Board Support Packages (BSPs), and hardware abstraction layers for custom electronic boards.
• Leading critical Hardware Bring-Up processes in close collaboration with the Hardware Engineering and Board Design teams.
• Performing advanced, hands-on system-level debugging and root-cause failure analysis utilizing laboratory test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers.
• Driving the full embedded software development lifecycle from requirements definition and architectural design through implementation, bench integration, and final verification.
• Collaborating cross-functionally within a multidisciplinary engineering squad to ensure seamless hardware-software integration for complex radar and aerospace platforms.
Requirements-
• Extensive hands-on industry experience in Embedded Real-Time Software / Firmware development in C and C++ (5+ years) – Mandatory
• Expert-level understanding of RTOS concepts (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr) and Multi-Threaded / Concurrency programming – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience with modern Microcontroller architectures, with a strong focus on STM32 / ARM Cortex-M families – Mandatory
• Demonstrated mastery in Low-Level Driver development, Board Support Packages (BSP), and Hardware Bring-Up – Mandatory
• Deep, practical experience with Hardware Debugging and Lab Test Equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, JTAG/SWD debuggers) – Mandatory
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Electrical Engineering degree – High Preference / Significant Advantage)
• Practical experience with embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, PCIe) – Mandatory
• Background in Radar systems, Aerospace & Defense standards, or Safety-Critical embedded environments – Significant Advantage
