Engineering Director

Ox Security is the pioneer of Active ASPM, purpose-built to secure the modern software supply chain in the age of AI. From GenAI-generated code to cloud runtime, we give developers and security teams the visibility and automation needed to ship secure software faster. We're growing fast and looking for an Engineering Director to lead a core engineering group and the product pillars at the heart of what we do. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you'll work closely with product, architecture, security, and product marketing, owning a new initiative in our core cyber products. Requirements: What We’re Looking For • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in a managerial role • Proven managerial experience in developing, incubating, and releasing a product from the ground up • Proven experience in leading and growing engineering teams in dynamic environments • Strong technical background with the ability to dive deep and make high-level architectural decisions • Excellent collaboration and communication skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid startup environment • A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives on impact and accountability • Passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing products Bonus Points For • Experience leading teams in cybersecurity • Familiarity with cloud-native environments and modern development workflows • Familiarity with startups
