Engineering Operations & NPI Manager

Tabor Electronics is looking for a highly organized, technically capable and hands-on Engineering Operations & NPI Manager to work closely with the VP Engineering and support the effective execution of the company’s engineering activities.

This is a multidisciplinary role combining engineering project coordination, resource and task management, NPI and transfer-to-production activities, and hands-on technical support.

At this position, you will act as the operational arm of the VP Engineering, ensuring that engineering plans are executed and meeting schedule;

The role is particularly suited to someone with a strong electronics background who combines technical understanding with excellent organizational and project-management capabilities and enjoys working closely with engineers while driving execution.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the VP Engineering to translate engineering priorities and project requirements into structured work plans, schedules, milestones and individual assignments.

• Work closely with manufacturing team on NPI products and work with Engineering team on clear data transfer of NPI products from engineering to manufacturing.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer/Practical electrical engineer with strong technical understanding of hardware, FPGA, systems and Lab equipment.

Proven experience in technical project management

Experience working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment involving hardware, software and/or FPGA development.
