Role

Own hardware development for rugged systems, including system architecture, PCB design, harness design, integration, testing, and engineering support through production.

·        Design system block diagrams for enclosures integrating PCBs, modules, harnesses, and connectors.

·        Brake system requirements into clear engineering tasks for PCB, harness, and integration work.

Mandatory Requirements

·        3–5 years of hardware engineering experience in defense or aerospace.

·        Proven MIL-STD based, PCB design experience from scratch to production.

·        Hands-on MIL-STD harness and rugged interconnect design hands on experience.

Technical Skills

·        OrCAD Capture, MS Visio, and Cadence Allegro Viewer.

·        Analog and digital design, including microcontrollers, COM-Express, and SOM implementation.

·        POD and ATP writing and execution, PDR/CDR participation or leadership.

·        Troubleshooting, failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and production support.

Additional Capabilities

·        Independent work, task prioritization, and practical problem solving.

·        Clear communication with production, sales, PCB layout vendors, and harness manufacturers.

·        Technical support for project quotes, component sourcing, EOL analysis, and alternatives.
