Job Description

A leading insurance company is looking for an experienced Data Development Team Lead to lead a development team responsible for enterprise Data solutions and business-critical systems.

The role combines people management, hands-on technical leadership, architecture design, and leading strategic initiatives, including migration projects from SQL Server to Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a software development team while providing hands-on technical guidance.

• Design system architecture and technical solutions for complex data processes.

• Lead migration projects from SQL Server to Azure, including planning, execution, and optimization.

• Develop and maintain systems on Azure and SQL Server platforms.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Coach team members and manage performance and professional development.

• Build work plans, prioritize tasks, and manage team capacity.

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through production deployment.

• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors.

• Ensure delivery quality, timelines, and business objectives.

• Drive innovation and adopt new technologies and development best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading software development teams.

• 2+ years of hands-on Python development and solution architecture experience.

• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects.

• Strong planning, prioritization, and workload management skills.

• Good English communication skills, including working with international stakeholders.
