Tech Lead - Android Mobile

Location: Central Israel | Hybrid | Full-time

About the Role

Join the Digital Platforms division and take part in developing the digital channels of one of Israel's leading financial organizations, including mobile applications, web platforms, and innovative digital solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Android Tech Lead to drive the technical direction of Mobile development, combining deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and leadership of cross-functional development teams.

In this role, you will lead the development of native Android applications, make key architectural decisions, oversee the full software development lifecycle, and drive best practices for code quality, performance, and maintainability. You will also mentor developers and promote engineering excellence across the team.

You will collaborate closely with Android and iOS developers, Backend engineers, DevOps, QA, Security, Architecture teams, Scrum Masters, and Project Managers to deliver high-quality, enterprise-scale mobile solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Java

• Strong hands-on experience with Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, and Data Binding

• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries

• Strong understanding of modern mobile architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and MVP

• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions

• At least 2 years of experience leading development teams

• Experience leading cross-platform mobile projects involving both Android and iOS

• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to solve complex challenges and maintain high engineering standards

Advantages

• Experience with libraries such as Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, or RxJava
