R&D Material Scientist

The company’s technology focuses on carbon fixation and durable carbon storage in ocean environments, combining scientific research, materials development, and environmental impact.

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary R&D team and lead the development of next-generation material formulations that will shape the company’s future product line.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of next-generation material formulations for advanced environmental and marine carbon removal applications.

• Conduct research and experiments in both laboratory and pilot-scale environments.

• Improve existing product versions and develop new formulations.

• Develop, characterize, and test product performance in aquatic environments.

• Use analytical techniques to perform measurements, characterize materials, and generate actionable insights.

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support R&D decisions and product development.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant industrial R&D or product development

• Experience with materials formulation and assembly techniques

• Strong understanding of surface chemistry principles

• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and lead projects to successful completion.
