Procurement Buyer – Raw Materials (Chemicals) | Defense Company – Yehud

We're seeking a Procurement Buyer for raw materials (chemicals), responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for production needs in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of chemical raw materials procurement for manufacturing operations

• Conducting market research and identifying new suppliers in Israel and abroad

• Leading negotiations, contract preparation, and cost optimization initiatives

• Planning and forecasting inventory to ensure production continuity

• Working closely with production, quality assurance, logistics, and suppliers

• Managing procurement data and tracking orders in SAP

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement of raw materials and chemicals

• Strong understanding of the chemical industry, standards, and material safety – advantage

• Proven experience in negotiating with international suppliers

• Full proficiency in SAP

• Very good English (spoken and written)

• Independent working ability, strong organizational skills, and analytical thinking
