Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend and platform engineering roles • 5+ years of experience designing and building large-scale backend systems using Java • 2+ years of experience working with Python (Advantage) • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud-native architectures in production environments • Strong experience designing and architecting scalable, reliable, and maintainable production systems • Solid experience working with relational databases and SQL • Proven experience improving engineering processes, development workflows, and technical standards, with strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean design, and functional and non-functional requirements • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence without authority, and drive alignment across teams through strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, supportive, and ownership-driven mindset • Practical experience with AI development tools such as Cursor or similar tools, with curiosity and passion for applying them in day-to-day engineering work
