Position Overview
This role involves supporting and sustaining existing products within the Sustain Engineering domain.
Responsibilities
• Handle recurring issues from production and the field, identify root causes, and implement engineering solutions to ensure product quality and reliability throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform advanced laboratory testing and hands-on work with electronic components.
• Conduct fine soldering and component-level rework.
• Prepare detailed test reports and perform technical failure analysis.
• Support and implement engineering changes (ECO, DCO) as part of continuous improvement processes.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, QA, Production, and Procurement teams to resolve issues and maintain product quality.
• Work within a professional team in a well-equipped laboratory environment with dedicated electronic equipment for power systems.
Requirements
• Electronics Practical Engineer with at least 3 years of practical experience.
• Experience with analog circuits and power circuits/power supplies.
• Proven ability in electronic board-level debug and repair.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, data loggers).
• Experience with EMC equipment - an advantage.
• Hands-on soldering and rework skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical schematics and engineering drawings - advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong ability to prepare technical reports in Hebrew and English.
• Good English skills - technical reading and writing.
• Advantage: experience with configuration management systems (PLM).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, organizational skills, documentation ability, and professional responsibility.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and strong motivation to support R&D, Production, and QA teams.
