We are looking for Junior Physicist to be part of the laser and silicon photonics testing and characterization group.
Dustphotonics, now part of Credo, develops cutting-edge technology in Silicon Photonics which is revolutionizing connectivity and communication in data centers. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications • 2–5 years of industry experience or relevant hands-on experience gained during advanced academic studies.
• Strong understanding of optics and photonics principles.
• Experience in preparing and executing test plans, data analysis and DOE methodologies.
• Programming experience in Python – an advantage.
• Good understanding of statistical analysis methods and tools. Preferred Qualifications • Advantage: experience working in R&D environments within optics, photonics, or semiconductor companies.
• Advantage: hands-on experience with laser and photonics testing at wafer, bar and chip levels. Education • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Optics, Materials Engineering or a related scientific/engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
• Develop new testing methods, plan experiments and analyze test results to enable new product development.
• Characterize the performance of lasers and various photonic devices over different conditions to ensure they meet target specs.
• Participate and assist in Failure analysis and yield improvement investigations.
