Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) / Technical Customer Solutions Expert, providing expert-level engineering support and driving successful integration of advanced Test & Measurement and Signal Generation solutions into global customer systems.

• Guiding, training, and consulting tier-1 enterprise clients and research institutions on product architecture, system integration, and advanced applications.

• Partnering with Sales and Business Development teams to assess complex technical client requirements, conducting pre-sales evaluations, and tailoring customized hardware/software solutions.

• Designing and executing comprehensive Product Evaluation Plans, Benchmarking, and System-Level Testing protocols.

• Driving deep-dive technical troubleshooting, root-cause debugging, and performance optimization for customer deployments in RF, Microwave, and high-speed domains.

• Collaborating closely with internal R&D and Hardware/Software Engineering teams to relay market feedback, influence product roadmaps, and implement feature enhancements.

• Tracking industry trends, competing technologies, and emerging applications to maintain market leadership.

• Authoring high-level technical collateral, Application Notes, White Papers, and customer case studies in collaboration with Marketing.

• Traveling internationally (US & Europe) up to 20% annually for client on-sites, integration milestones, and technical trade events.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline – Mandatory

• 5+ years of proven hands-on technical experience in customer-facing engineering roles (Field Applications Engineer / Systems Engineer / Technical Solutions Engineer) – Mandatory

• Deep technical expertise in RF / Microwave Signal Generation, Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWG), and High-Speed Digitizer technologies – Mandatory

• Proven programming proficiency in Python or MATLAB for automation, signal processing, and equipment control – Mandatory

• Strong technical problem-solving, system-level debugging, and root-cause analysis capabilities – Mandatory

• Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and customer-facing presentation skills – Mandatory

• Willingness and availability for international travel (US / Europe) of up to 20% – Mandatory

• Background in the Electronic Test & Measurement (T&M) industry – Significant Advantage

• Practical experience with Wireless / RF / Radar / Digital Broadcasting applications – Significant Advantage

• Hands-on knowledge of Instrumentation Programming (VISA, LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI), standard interfaces (GPIB, PXI, PXIe, LXI, VXI), and ATE System Integration / DSP techniques – Significant Advantage

• Proficiency operating and troubleshooting lab equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, High-Bandwidth Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, VNAs) – Significant Advantage
