Flight Test Engineer

The Flight Test Center within the Aviation Division is looking for a Flight Test Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the flight testing phase from test planning through the execution of flight test missions.

• Manage complex flight tests of both manned and unmanned aircraft, either onboard the aircraft or from a ground control room.

• Work across a wide range of flight-related disciplines, including aircraft performance, flight control, various payloads, weapon systems, and more.

• Participate in the development of new aircraft, as well as upgrades and conversions of existing platforms, supporting the process from the design phase through leading the flight test phase.

• Manage the planning and implementation of airborne instrumentation systems tailored to specific flight test requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering – required.

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering – significant advantage.

• Strong command of English, including speaking, reading, and writing – required.

• Aviation background, such as aircrew, UAV operators, flight simulator instructors, private pilots, or model aircraft enthusiasts – significant advantage.

Our Flight Test Center plans and executes flight test programs for our customers. These activities are based on decades of experience in testing both military and civil aircraft, ranging from minor aircraft modifications to full civil certification of newly designed aircraft.

The Flight Test Center provides comprehensive capabilities for testing new aircraft, new configurations, and new systems. Each flight test involves multidisciplinary teamwork between specialized engineers, test pilots or UAV operators, as well as technical and other support teams.

In this role, you will play a significant part in a diverse range of engineering, operational, and technical activities, contributing directly to the development, validation, and testing of advanced aviation systems.
