About the Role

This is a broad, hands-on design role. You’ll work directly with the founders and take ownership of how Apptor looks and feels across product, marketing, sales, and client-facing work. Today, much of this is handled by the product and engineering team. We’re looking for someone who can bring consistency, quality, and a clear design language across everything we build. There’s no established design system or heavy process yet, so you’ll have a lot of influence over how the design function develops.

Responsibilities

• Product - Design our platform and client-facing dashboards, from user flows through final UI.

• Client deliverables - Create email templates and campaign creatives for enterprise brands, including production-ready HTML where needed.

• Brand & commercial - Design pitch decks, one-pagers, presentations, and other sales and marketing materials.

• Website - Own the design and implementation of our website using Framer, Webflow, or code.

• Design system - Build and maintain a consistent visual language across product and brand.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing both product design and high-quality brand/marketing work.

• Comfortable using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.

• Comfortable working independently and owning design decisions.

• Strong attention to detail and visual quality.

• Able to move quickly without sacrificing quality.

• Comfortable working across very different types of design work.

Required Skills

• Experience as the first or sole designer at an early-stage startups.

• Background in a marketing or creative agency, especially with consumer brands.

• Motion or interaction design skills.

• Familiarity with email campaigns and marketing communications.

• Experience working at an early-stage startup or as a solo designer.
