FP&A Analyst

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an FP&A Analyst at Ophir Optronics, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, business partnering, reporting, and strategic decision support across a global manufacturing organization

Working closely with Finance and business leaders, you will help drive financial visibility, improve decision-making, and support the achievement of strategic and operational goals

This position reports to the Finance Manager and offers significant exposure to senior management, global operations, and cross-functional business teams

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes

• Preparing monthly management reporting packages and presenting financial insights and key business drivers

• Performing detailed revenue, gross margin, inventory, operating expenses, and headcount analyses

• Monitoring actual results versus budget and forecast, identifying risks, opportunities, and key trends

• Building financial models, business cases, and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making

• Supporting manufacturing and operational finance activities, including inventory management, costing analysis, productivity initiatives, and gross margin optimization

• Partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial teams to improve business performance

• Collaborating with Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and support SOX compliance requirements

• Driving process improvements, reporting automation, and data quality initiatives

• Supporting management reviews and executive presentations

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, Controlling, Corporate Finance, or a Big 4 accounting firm

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes

• Knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, and gross margin analysis

• Experience working with SAP ERP systems

• Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools

• CPA certification or prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm – an advantage

• Experience in a global organization – an advantage
