Freelance Infrastructure Architect - 243094

We are preparing to submit a proposal for a significant architecture and infrastructure planning project and are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Architect to join us as an expert consultant during the final preparation stage.

This is a short-term, urgent freelance engagement, estimated at approximately 15 hours over the next two weeks, with the potential for continued collaboration during the implementation phase if the project is awarded.

Scope of the engagement:

• Conduct a professional review and assessment of the architecture and infrastructure design already developed by our team

• Validate and refine the proposed infrastructure solutions prior to submission

• Review Sizing, Capacity Planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM)

• Assess the design of Production and Test environments

• Evaluate performance, availability, resiliency, scalability, future growth, and cost considerations

• Provide expert recommendations and identify potential gaps, risks, or areas for improvement

• Collaborate with our technical teams as needed

What we’re looking for:

• Significant hands-on experience in infrastructure architecture for large-scale, complex environments

• Strong experience with Cloud and Hybrid Cloud architectures

• Deep knowledge of Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security infrastructure

• Proven experience with HA/DR, Capacity Planning, and end-to-end Sizing

• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical, measurable architecture

• Experience working with vendors and technology providers and preparing BOMs

Nice to have: Experience with GCP / Azure / AWS, Data / SIEM platforms, FinOps, and TCO analysis.

Hourly rate: Based on the consultant’s proposed rate
