Full Stack Team Leader

An established, high-growth technology company developing an advanced AI-powered telematics platform for the global automotive and commercial transport sectors.

The platform ingests and analyzes real-time vehicle and sensor telemetry using machine learning models to enable predictive maintenance, prevent mechanical failures, and evaluate driving patterns for improved safety and operational efficiency.

Serving large international fleets and automotive partners, the company combines high-volume IoT data streams with a strong engineering culture.

The office is located in Central Israel adjacent to the train station, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Hands-On Full-Stack Team Lead (70–80% Hands-On), leading an agile software development squad building cloud-native products for real-time connected vehicle data.

• Taking complete end-to-end technical ownership over architectural design and implementation across the full stack: Frontend, Backend, and Cloud Infrastructure.

• Architecting and building high-scale, resilient microservices and distributed data applications primarily using TypeScript on AWS.

• Designing and implementing scalable RESTful APIs and Event-Driven architectures handling real-time telemetry streaming.

• Mentoring and technically guiding software engineers, driving code reviews, engineering rigor, and execution velocity across local and distributed team members.

• Driving DevOps and automated deployment best practices through modern CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent academic technological degree – Mandatory

• 8+ years of total software engineering experience in the industry, with at least 3–5 years in a Full-Stack Team Lead / Tech Lead capacity – Mandatory

• 5+ years of deep, hands-on production experience in TypeScript, building and deploying production-grade systems on AWS – Mandatory

• Proven track record taking full ownership over end-to-end systems architectures (Frontend → Backend → Infrastructure) – Mandatory

• Solid experience leading a significant product domain or core technological pillar – Mandatory

• Deep technical expertise with PostgreSQL: schema design, data modeling, index tuning, and query optimization in high-volume production environments – Mandatory

• Strong API design capabilities across both REST APIs and Event-Driven / Message-Based architectures – Mandatory

• Robust practical background with modern CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI) – Mandatory

• Proven hands-on familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and core AWS managed services – Mandatory

• Experience managing or guiding virtual / distributed development squads – Advantage
